Especially when a nostalgia-inducing evening with the band promises to subject you to the prog-rocking sounds of Starship Trooper, the eternal Roundabout; and a personal favourite of ours, Owner of a Lonely Heart.

Which is in no small part down to its fearless pursuit of a new path, channelling progressive rockers like YES in hit Holy Mountain; while much-missed Smithsonian riffs shimmer in the anthemic Black & White Sunshine.

Not forgetting Noel’s excellent solo offerings from his previous two albums, where on the evenings you can expect to hear superb singles Heat of the Moment, Everybody’s on the Run and Riverman; before delving into what is surely one of British music’s best back catalogues. Need we say more about Don’t Look Back in Anger, The Masterplan, Champagne Supernova and Wonderwall!
