Announcements Flowing Thick and Fast for Paris Motor Show
It's now just over two months until the Paris Motor Show, which will get underway on the 4th October, starting a two week showcase of the best developments, prototypes and new models in the automotive industry. With the show fast approaching, and the excitement among car enthusiasts getting ever higher, the big players in the industry are starting to announce what they will be revealing, with the world's press waiting eagerly.
If you've got your tickets for the show, or even if you'll just be keeping up with the action online, you'll want to know the what, the where and the when of the most important reveals. At the luxury end of the car brands, an all-new Audi R8 will be revealed. The German supercar took the world by storm when it was launched in 2007, but seven years on it is overdue to for a revamp. Also in the supercar arena, the new Mercedes AMG will make its debut at the show, and will likely take styling cues from the car-makers top-of-the-range SLS AMG.
Other Worldly Supercars and Down to Earth Family Cars
While the supercars will be the stars of the show, they remain no more than a dream for most of us. The more affordable options will be on show in their numbers as well. The ever-popular Vauxhall Corsa will get a whole new look at the motor show, while the classic Mazda MX5 has been completely redesigned, and you can see the newest incarnation in Paris.
In addition to the cars themselves, there will be many other interesting and innovative exhibits on show this year. Volvo will be showcasing the state-of-the-art safety features on their new XC90, including two 'world-firsts'. From the Motor Show itself, there will be a look back at how cars and fashion are intertwined with one another, and includes more than 40 cars that became fashion icons in their own right.
Held at the Porte de Versailles Paris Expo, the motor show is only a few miles from the Hotel Amarante Beau Manoir, and the journey can be made by the Paris Metro in less than 30 minutes. With more than two months still until the show gets underway, you can still take advantage of our Early Bird Offer at Hotel Beau Manoir, guaranteeing you the best possible deal on your stay in Paris.
